Maryland is one of a small number of states that
offer an abbreviated bar exam—the Out-of-State Attorneys'
Exam. The exam is for some experienced attorneys licensed to practice
in another state. Rule
13 of the Rules Governing Admission to the Bar, Maryland Rules,
Annotated Code of Maryland, defines which lawyers qualify to take
this exam. Shemer Bar Review offers a program designed to assist
out of state attorneys in their preparation. Our program will be
tailored to meet your needs, giving you as much or as little time
as you need. But like everything we do at Shemer Bar Review, you
always have the opportunity for one-on-one contact with Shemer Bar
faculty to address your specific questions and give you feedback
on your preparation.
